Q: How big can you build?
A: The max portable shed size we offer is 14×40. Alternatively, our steel structures (Garages, Barns, RV covers, etc.) can go as wide as 80’ with no length restrictions. For example, if you wanted an 80×300, we can do it!
Q: When do I make my first payment?
A: Your first monthly payment is usually made within 30 days of your delivery.
Q: Can someone come look at my property before I purchase a building?
A: Most customers do not require a site check, however, if you feel like you need some assistance, don’t hesitate to ask!
Q: What are my financing options? Rent to Own?
A: We happily offer the following payment plans: Rent-to-Own, Financing, and Same as Cash. Most options that we have do not require a credit check.
Q: What warranties come with your buildings?
A: All of our products come standard with a set of incredible warranties! Contact your local dealer for additional information.
STEEL STRUCTURES FAQ’S
Q: Since we’re tax exempt, can sales tax be waived on building?
A: Yes! Anyone who provides us with their proper tax exemption documents can usually qualify for tax exemption. Most times, the tax ID number will suffice.
Q: How much does it cost to deliver my building?
A: At Hometown Sheds, our prices typically include standard delivery and setup.
Q: Once my building arrives, how long does installation take?
A: Most steel structure projects can be installed within one day, however, larger buildings can take a while.
Q: Do I need a permit for my building?
A: We leave that up to you. We strongly advise you to check with your local zoning and planning office, some areas do require a permit. If they require certified plans for your building, we can provide them to the planning and zoning office free of charge.
Q: What if I need certified plans?
A: Generic engineer plans are available free of charge for any certified building. If you are a business or are looking to get do home conversions, you will likely need site specific drawings which are ordered on request.
